As you can this drawing ( approx. 5' sq. ) is composed of 4 same size pieces . Working in graphite for me has been a intense drawing extravaganza...Like working in watercolor ....there is so much layering and modeling its very labor intensive and direct, meaning there's no going back to fix a line, you have to anticipate your strokes as well as keeping them loose.
